DISTRIBUTION  Forested regions of Palearctic, from Iberia and Great Britain (Ireland, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Czech Republic, Liechtenstein, Romania, Serbia, Kosovo, Slovenia, Slovakia, Denmark, Finland, Norway) east to Kamchatka Peninsula and Sakhalin Isl (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, European Russia, and Asian Russia, Belarus, Ukraine), south to Mediterranean Sea and Black Sea (Albania, Macedonia, Greece, Malta, Western Turkey , Turkey, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon), N Mongolia, Japan, Korea, and Northeastern China,. Introduced in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Republic of Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kirghizistan, Saint Kitts and Nevis
